Introduction: WelcomHeritage’s Elephant Point Retreat lies amidst the tropical rain forestes, at a distance of 15 kms from Bhalukpong, the entry point to three districts of Arunachal Pradesh, Viz, Tawang, West Kameng and East Kameng. The resort sprawls on a 60-acre orchard where bananas, litchis, oranges, pineapple and other Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary.

Description: It is a an ideal place for birdwatchers, a large variety of birds can be spotted here, including the majestic hornbill. One can also indulge in angling and white water rafting in Kameng River. Some beautiful specimens of orchids, both natural and hybrid, and including some endangered species, are on display here. These are at their best in the spring and monsoon seasons.
