Day 1:
Cochin Arrival
On your arrival at the Cochin Airport our representative will receive you and take to the hotel. Spend the afternoon with local sightseeing in and around Cochin - the "Queen of Arabian Sea", this is one of the finest natural harbors in the World and was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portugese, Dutch, etc. Sightseeing attractions in Cochin include Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. Overnight stay is arranged in Cochin.
Day 2:
Cochin - Munnar
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Munnar (140 KM - 4 Hours drive), on arrival check into the hotel. Spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay is arranged in Munnar.
Day 3:
Munnar
After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Local sightseeing of Munnar includes visit to Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point. Afternoon proceed to Rajamalai were the rarest species of mountain goat, "Nilgiri Thars", can be spotted. Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar.
Day 4:
Munnar - Thekkady(Periyar)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (110 km - 3 hours drive) on arrival check into the hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Day 5:
Thekkady(Periyar)
Proceed for the sightseeing tour of Thekkady - one of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves. The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Optional activities like Boating at Periyar Lake, Spice Plantation visit, Bamboo Rafting, Trekking and Elephant Ride can be done at an extra cost. Overnight stay is arranged in Thekkady.
Day 6:
Thekkady(Periyar) - Kumarakom
After early breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Kumarakom (170 km - 05 Hours drive) on arrival check into Hotel. Proceed for local sightseeing in and around Kumarakom - a tiny backwater hamlet perched on the western banks of the Vembanadu Lake. The stretch of backwater is spread over 900 sq. km. The hamlet clings to tradition and the local population prefers to live adhering to their old ways. Choose a canoe, motor boat or a houseboat and devour the beauty of this backwater paradise at its best. Overnight stay is arranged in Kumarakom.
Day 7:
Kumarakom - Mararikulam
After early breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Mararikulam (40 km - 45 minutes drive) on arrival check into Hotel. Proceed for local sightseeing in and around Mararikulam - Marari offers endless miles of superb sand beaches flanked with swaying palms, where you can experience the local charm and the traditional Kerala Hospitality at its best. Overnight stay is arranged in Mararikulam.
Day 8:
Mararikulam Departure
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Airport for onward journey.
