Package Day Description
Day 1:
JAIPUR: Arrival at Jaipur and transfer to hotel. The rose-pink capital of Rajasthan, is surrounded on all sides by rugged hills. The city was founded in 1727 by the astronomer king, Sawai Jai Singh II and built according to the Shilpa Shastra, the ancient Hindu treatise on architecture and sculpture. It is a walled city with seven rectangular blocks. The Maharajahʹs palace stands in the center of the city amidst lovely gardens. Rest of the Leisure. Over night at hotel.
Day 2:
JAIPUR: This morning's excursion takes you to Amber Fort. This afternoon explore Jaipur visiting Jantar Mantar an observatory equipped with instruments of astonishing size and precision, including a 90 foot high sun dial. See the Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds and the City Palace and Museum. The museum has an interesting textile section, which contains dresses and costumes of the former Maharajas and Maharanis of Jaipur. Continue past Moti Doongri Palace - a privately owned hilltop fort built like a Scottish castle - to Ram Niwas Gardens and architecturally impressive Albert Hall. Return to the hotel.
Day 3:
JAIPUR - JODHPUR: After breakfast drive to Jodhpur. You will be met on arrival and transferred to the hotel. In afternoon visit the Meherangarh Fort and enjoy a magnificent view of this Blue city from the ramparts. Also visit Jaswant Thada - a white marble memorial built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant II in 1899. A story goes that Maharaja Jaswant succumbed to injuries in this place while fighting the Mughal king Jehangir. Overnight stay at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4:
JODHPUR - UDAIPUR: This morning you'll drive through valleys in the remote and peaceful Aravalli Range to RANAKPUR to visit one of the most important Jain temples in India. We'll continue driving south, arriving Udaipur, described as the 'City of Sunrise'. In the evening you will enjoy a leisurely boat ride on LAKE PICHOLA (Subject to water level in the lake). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5:
UDAIPUR: After breakfast a tour to Udaipur. Visit Jagdish Temple. Built in 1651 A.D. by Maharana Jagat Singh, this Indo-Aryan temple is dedicated to Lord Jagannath, a manifestation of Vishnu. Later visit City Palace. Udaipur's fascinating City Palace is the largest royal complex in Rajasthan. Later visit Sahelion Ki Bari that is a small ornamental garden built in the honour of Royal Ladies for recreational purpose. Followed by visit to Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum, Eklingji & Nagda Temples, Fateh Sagar originally built in 1678 by Maharana Jai Singh, Fateh Sagar was rebuilt by Maharana Fateh Singh after the rains destroyed the dam. In the middle of the lake is Nehru Park, the garden island. Return to your hotel for overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6:
UDAIPUR - DEPARTURE: Morning after breakfast you will be transferred to the airport/ railway station for your journey to onward destination.
